Slick Sundance underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request – no apparent injury was reported.
Mepunga Tilly underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a fractured wrist. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
Who Told John underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. Ronald Fisher regarding Who Told John's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Who Told John was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Fisher pled guilty to the charge. Who Told John must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
