Solar Tigress was slow to begin.
Dementor turned it's head outwards and marred Late Mail in the home straight. Trainer, Ms Shara Quinlan declined the option to have the greyhound vetted.
Stewards spoke to trainer, Ms Shara Quinlan regarding Dementor's racing manners on the home turn and in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Dementor was charged with marring. Ms Shara Quinlan pled guilty to the charge, Dementor was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
