Steward's Report
Gunai Redeemer and Hang on Peppa were quick to begin. Tat Kenny, Hello Lynda and Bell's Galore were slow to begin.
Uncle Rosco (visably eased approaching the home turn and again approaching the winning post), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 5. Uncle Rosco was found to have a left triangle muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to representative, Ms Jessica Lyons regarding Uncle Rosco’s racing manners approaching the home turn and approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Uncle Rosco was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury. Ms Lyons pled guilty to the charge, Uncle Rosco was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
