Steward's Report
Phantom Rex, Dundee Cotton, Variation and Hurricane Max were slow to begin.
Hurricane Gypsy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury and an abrasion to the right hind leg. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mrs Victoria Sultana regarding the racing manners of Hurricane Gypsy approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mrs Sultana, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.
