Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from Aston Roman.
Deltoid was slow to begin.
Deltoid visibly eased and turned its head inwards at the 100m mark. Deltoid underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right adductor injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Stephen Tabb regarding Deltoid's racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Deltoid was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Tabb pled guilty to the charge, Deltoid was suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
