Steward's Report
One's Obsession was quick to begin. Zipping Riley was slow to begin.
Zipping Riley shifted out in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Matthew Lanigan regarding the racing manners of Zipping Riley in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Lanigan, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
A post race samples was taken from Zipping Riley - the winner of the event.
