Steward's Report
Marionvale Gal, Chief Davinci and Immersive were quick to begin. La Brea was slow to begin.
Yellow Pop shifted out and lost ground turning off the back straight, underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. When questioned by Stewards regarding the greyhound's performance, Kennel Representative Mr. Dale Chapman stated the greyhound was having its first start and was very green in the run. Mr. Chapman added that the greyhound had been trialling well in the lead up to today's event and was satisfied with its stronger run home, believing that this indicates the greyhound will improve from today's run.
A post-race sample was taken from Chief Davinci - the winner of the event.
