Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from Mist Fred.
Mist Fred marred Bare Knuckles in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a cervical injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. G. Selkrig regarding Mist Fred’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Mist Fred was charged with marring. Mr. G. Selkrig did not enter a plea to the charge, Mist Fred was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
