Steward's Report
Bell Park Dragon – Late scratching at 10:14am due to the greyhound being on season GAR 77. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Jack Campbell (via telephone) regarding the late scratching of the greyhound Bell Park Dragon. The late scratching of the greyhound Bell Park Dragon awarded Mr Campbell's other greyhound Aston Bomber a vacant box to it's inside. Stewards noted his comments and took no further action.
Fernando Bubbles – Late scratching at 1:54pm due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr L.Carbone informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr Carbone that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.
Miss Bazaar and Dewana Fair Go were quick to begin.
Aston Bomber (lost ground in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right paw. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
