Brett's Choice was quick to begin.  Isa Hillbilly and Pully George were slow to begin.  Isa Hillbilly was checked off Red Bolt soon after the start.  Red Bolt and Jungle Jane collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  On Flyer clipped the heels of Go Go Danni on the first turn checking On Flyer. Pully George was checked off Isa Hillbilly approaching the home turn checking Go Go Danni.  Red Bolt and Jungle Jane raced wide approaching the home turn, on the home turn and in the home straight.  On Flyer raced wide entering the home straight. Brett's Choice was checked off Bit After Nine approaching the winning post.

Magic Hook, Red Rambler and Blonde Lilly were slow to begin.  Mohawk Mako was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Ice Cold Bundy and Need's Luck collided soon after the start. Magic Hook was checked off Ice Cold Bundy approaching the first turn.  Blonde Lilly was checked off Mohawk Mako on the first turn.

Loves It was a late scratching at 5.51pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer Mr. Gerry Orr was fined the sum of $100.

Miss Lorena and Speedie Rioli were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking Speedie Rioli.  Speedie Rioli was checked off Lemon Patchwork approaching the first turn. Arvo's Euro and Miss Lorena collided approaching the first turn checking Arvo's Euro.  Lemon Patchwork and Laquita Lass collided several times on the first turn and approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Rozehill Maisie and High Aim collided approaching the home turn checking High Aim.  Arvo's Euro and Laquita Lass collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Express Lane, Aeroplane Ritzy and Kraken Sal were slow to begin.  Express Lane, Aeroplane Ritzy and Delta Daisy collided soon after the start checking Express Lane.  Express Lane was checked off Aeroplane Ritzy approaching the first turn.  Hay Angel crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Ko Ko Mikado and Mumma Hook.  Black Arora, Ko Ko Mikado and Mumma Hook collided on the first turn checking Mumma Hook, Express Lane and Kraken Sal and severely checking Delta Daisy and Black Arora, Express Lane and Kraken Sal raced wide as a result.  Aeroplane Ritzy was checked off Kraken Sal on the home turn.  Hay Angel tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Twistex and Napalm Red collided soon after the start.  Fred Best and Vapour Storm collided soon after the start.  Napalm Red was checked off Windy Hill approaching the first turn. Luca Neveelk crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Awesome Grunt.  Twistex and Windy Hill collided approaching the home turn checking Windy Hill.  Twistex was checked off Napalm Red entering the home straight checking Napalm Red.  Twistex and Napalm Red raced wide in the home straight.

Fragility and Tulare Dust were slow to begin.  Miss Penguin, Ice Flicka and Tulare Dust collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Penguin and Tulare Dust.  Fragility and Jet Mikado collided approaching the first turn.  Jamiela Twist and Jet Mikado collided on the first turn checking Jet Mikado.  Tulare Dust raced wide on the home turn.  Booma Mikado and Kraken Soupy collided approaching the winning post.

Here's Hannibal was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound showed signs of cramp, no stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Ian Bindley the trainer of the greyhound Here's Hannibal.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71(cramp)  Stewards directed that Here's Hannibal must perform a satisfactory trial all tracks before any future nomination will be accepted.
