Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Wood, the trainer of the greyhound Binnie's Boy. Binnie's Boy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left back, right calf and right monkey muscle; a 7 stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Binie's Boy with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dungarvan was slow to begin. Black Kaden, Bolar Blade, Heavenly Star and Hankos collided soon after the start, checking Black Kaden and Bolar Blade. MEETING COMMENTS:

Satisfactory Trial Results - Lady Senorita trialled over the 311 metres from box 8, weight 31.2kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.09, the greyhound won by a margin of 0.75 lengths. Lady Senorita was cleared.
