Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Fury Bale.
Flaming Bob was slow to begin. Fury Bale, Grand Illusion, Jonny La Monte and Flushette collided soon after the start checking Grand Illusion and Flushette. Flaming Bob checked off Chief Tyson approaching the first turn. Flaming Bob galloped on the heels of Jonny La Monte on the first turn causing Jonny La Monte to falter and tail off.
Jonny La Monte was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right back muscle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
