Atlantic Storm and Red Superman collided at the 300m mark checking Red Superman. Atlantic Storm and Red Superman collided at the 250m mark checking Red Superman. Tekki Tremor and Quick Release collided at the 200m mark checking Quick Release. Simply Maybe and Billy's On Fire collided at the 200m mark. George's Warrior was a late scratching at 8:38am due to injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dee Sticky was a late scratching at 12:10pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer Mr J. Olsen was fined the sum of $100.

Cool Maxine and Jayded Crisis collided soon after the start. Firestarter crossed to the rail soon after the start severely checking Firestarter, Cool Maxine, Ragtime Lucy and Southwood Laura. Southwood Laura checked off Ragtime Lucy at the 150m mark.

Miss Viking and Tassie Lady were quick to begin. Flaming Homer and Micko Fozz collided soon after the start. Miss Viking crossed to the rail soon after the start. Miss Viking and Tassie Lady collided at the 250m mark. Ready Jet Go checked off Irish Asteria at the 150m mark and collided with Miss Viking.

Flying Alf was slow to begin. Play A Kazoo crossed to the outside at the 300m mark, colliding with and checking El Cee Dee and Pacific Angel. El Cee Dee checked off Pacific Angel at the 200m mark.

Finny was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustaied an injury to the left calf muscle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Praise Chorus and Layton Boss collided soon after the start severely checking Praise Chrous. Layton Boss, Cool Mikado and Tubesman collided approaching the 300m mark checking all three greyhounds. Punk Pirate and Tubesman collided at the 300m mark checking both greyhounds. Punk Pirate checked off Here Comes Alex at the 250m mark.

Garaole and Blingsteen collided soon after the start checking Garaole. Garaole, Midnight Flynn and Alex's Entity collided approaching the 300m mark checking Garaole and Alex's Entity. Midnight Flynn crossed to the outside at the 300m mark. About To Peak checked off For The Battlers at the 250m mark checking Alex's Entity, Garaole and Blingsteen. Garaole checked off Alex's Entity at the 200m mark. Garaole checked off Blingsteen at the 150m mark. Sanzman and For The Battlers collided at the 100m mark checking For The Battlers.

Blingsteen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left calf muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Super Leggera and Comprado were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Comprado checked off Pocket Of Dreams at the 200m mark.

Mr. M Fox, handler of Soldier Spy, redeclared a new weight of 33.6kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Soldier Spy last raced at 32.5kg.

Bronte's Gift and Walk Hard collided at the 300m mark checking Bronte's Gift and Brave Crawf. Bronte's Gift, Brave Crawf and Soldier Spy collided at the 250m mark checking all three greyhounds.

Peregon Flyer was slow to begin. Code Breaker and Arolok Sam collided soon after the start. Classy Flyer, Benny Bowen and Cheeky Hand collided at the 250m mark. Code Breaker and Arolok Sam collided at the 150m mark and again at the 100m mark checking Code Breaker. Classy Flyer and Benny Bowen collided approaching the 100m mark checking Benny Bowen. Code Breaker and Arolok Sam collided at the 100m mark.

Lady Senorita was slow to begin. Tarn Star checked off Cee Ronaldo at the 250m mark and subsequently tailed off. Double Adapto and Cee Ronaldo collided at the 200m mark and several times from the 100m mark to the 50m mark.

Tarn Star was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 12, it t was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Ms M Shaw, the handler of the greyhound Tarn Star. Stewards deemed the performance of Tarn Star unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Tarn Star must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
