Steward's Report
Erza Allen was vetted prior to the running of this event, after the greyhound was ill in it's kennel. The greyhound was passed fit to compete.
Thor Bale was slow to begin. Thor Bale and Elegant Elle collided approaching the first turn. Long Sigh crossed to the outside on the first turn, checking Erza Allen. Kingston County, Long Sigh and Elegant Elle collided on the first turn, severely checking Long Sigh and Elegant Elle.
Long Sigh was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind graze; a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
The photo finish was unavailable for this event due to the foggy conditions. The judges determined the placings with the aid of the back-up system.
