Prior to the "All Clear" being given, the judges inadvertently semaphored the incorrect numbers 7-2-3-4 before changing to the correct placings 7-2-8-3.

Dyna Willow and Infinite Wish collided approaching the first turn.  Zipping Rory checked off Big Kat on the third turn.  Dyna Willow checked off Zipping Rory approaching the fifth turn.  Gold Affair Two checked off Zipping Rory entering the home straight.  Dyna Willow checked off Gold Affair Two in the home straight.

Winston Groom, Spring Leaf, Fuzzy Buzzy and Greywinds Butch were slow to begin.  Spring Leaf, Fuzzy Buzzy, Greywinds Butch and Salegrey's Late collided on the first turn.  Fuzzy Buzzy checked off Cosmea entering the back straight.  Cosmea, Salegrey's Late and Fuzzy Buzzy collided approaching the home turn.

Swans Twelve was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Wind Whistler galloped on the heels of Pita Milo soon after the start.  Pita Milo, Wind Whistler, Cette Away and Sisco Good collided on the first turn.  Wind Whistler and Swans Twelve collided on the second turn.  Wind Whistler checked off Mepunga Ranger entering the back straight.  Swans Twelve checked off Sisco Good approaching the home turn.

Pita Milo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Ema's Princess was slow to begin.  Fully Charged and Dyna Orion collided soon after the start.  Fully Charged and Great Spartacus collided entering the front straight.  Dyna Glinda and Ema's Princess collided on the second turn.  Rebelation and Dyna Orion collided on the third turn.  Dyna Glinda checked off Ema's Princess entering the back straight.  Starc and Great Spartacus collided approaching the home turn.  Fully Charged and Starc collided on the home turn.

Mister Mint, Pappa Gallo, Allen Zentax and Mepunga Tiara were slow to begin.  Dyna Ostrander crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Tiggerlong Amigo, Raven Pearl, Mister Mint, Pappa Gallo and Oakvale Flyer.  Pappa Gallo and Oakvale Flyer collided approaching the first turn.  Raven Pearl, Mister Mint, Pappa Gallo and Allen Zentax collided on the first turn, severely checking Allen Zentax which stumbled and lost considerable ground as a result.  Pappa Gallo checked off Raven Pearl on the second turn.  Mister Mint checked off Pappa Gallo on the home turn.  Mister Mint and Pappa Gallo collided entering the home straight.

Go Mobo was slow to begin.  My Bro Fabio and Go Mobo collided soon after the start.  My Bro Fabio and Peloton Bale collided approaching the first turn. Peloton Bale and Mepunga Moss collided on the first turn.  My Bro Fabio checked off Peloton Bale on the second turn.  Go Mobo and Mepunga Moss collided entering the back straight.  My Bro Fabio, Where's The Surf, Peloton Bale and Allen Gizmo collided on the home turn.

Thoughtful Wish was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Young Hawke and Dyna Lemmy collided soon after the start.  Kooper's Crown, Dyna Lemmy, Yabba Dabba Dee and Suzie Sanderson collided approaching the first turn.  Thoughtful Wish raced wide on the first turn.  Dyna Lemmy and Yabba Dabba Dee collided in the back straight.  Dyna Lemmy and Yabba Dabba Dee collided on the third turn.  Suzie Sanderson checked off Thoughtful Wish on the home turn.
