Bran Nue Koonora was slow to begin.  Midnight Reign and He's Schmick collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Big Bad Rough and Paramount Arrow collided on the first turn checking Bran Nue Koonora, Midnight Reign and Zipity Do Dah and severely checking Big Bad Rough which faltered and tailed off as a result.  Bran Nue Koonora was checked off Midnight Reign approaching the home turn.  Money To Burn and Paramount Arrow collided entering the home straight.

Bran Nue Koonora was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to both hocks and left foreleg, no stand down period was imposed.

Big Bad Rough was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right pencil muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Sandy Point and Pilbara Gold were slow to begin.  Betsy Ann and Susie Goes Bang collided approaching the first turn checking Susie Goes Bang.  Royal Colour and Cost Cutter collided approaching the first turn.  Betsy Ann was checked off Cost Cutter on the home turn.  Susie Goes Bang and Sandy Point collided on the home turn.  Smash The Clock galloped on Betsy Ann in the home straight and stumbled.

Betsy Ann was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Camwell's Cool trialled over 400 metres from box 1, weight 24.2kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.04 secs, the greyhound by a margin of 10.25 lengths.  Camwell's Cool was cleared.

Enchanted Bling trialled over 400 metres from box 3, weight 28.7kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.04 secs, the greyhound by a margin of 3 lengths.  Enchanted Bling was cleared.

Deveraux trialled over 400 metres from box 4, weight 30.5kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 23.04 secs, the greyhound by a margin of 7 lengths.  Deveraux was cleared.
