Steward's Report
Dorellie Love – New declared weight of 36.6kg, last raced at 35.0kg.
Grumpy Ellie was quick to begin. Akina Onyx and Sweet Lola were slow to begin.
Deceleration visibly eased in the home straight, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Lyn Smith regarding Deceleration's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Deceleration was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Smith pled guilty to the charge, Deceleration was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
