Steward's Report
Ecstatic and Cookie Bale were slow to begin.
Aston Heat (racing manners in the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no injury apparent. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. S. Webb regarding the racing manners of Aston Heat in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Webb, viewing the available race footage, in particular the head-on vision, and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
A post–race sample was taken from Smokin' Arrow – the winner of the event.
