Steward's Report
Squiggly Bob was quick to begin.
Multi Matt was severely checked by King Con marring Ruff Shot on the home turn and subsequently tailed off. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
King Con marred Ruff Shot on the home turn and failed to finish as a result. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a lumbo-sacral injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Clinton Keith regarding King Con’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, King Con was charged with marring. Mr. Keith pleaded guilty to the charge. King Con was suspended for three months at all tracks and must perform two Satisfactory Trials in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Ruff Shot was marred by King Con and failed to finish as a result. Underwent a veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards contacted Mr. Clinton Keith, trainer of King Con, via telephone and issued a direction that the greyhound must wear an anti-aggression muzzle when competing in future events.
