Steward's Report
Mcivor Roxy was quick to begin.
Mcivor Roxy (lost ground approaching the home turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Kennel Representative Mr B.Priest regarding Mcivor Roxy overall performance in the event. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr Priest to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Mcivor Roxy in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
A post–race sample was taken from Ryebuck Tears – the winner of the event.
Supplementary Report 2 July 2023: Mr Barry Priest, trainer, notified Stewards in accordance with GAR 122 that McIvor Roxy was found to have an injury to the off side triangle muscle.
