Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Singin' Elle was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr King pleaded guilty to the charge. Singin' Elle was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to representative, Mr Mark Johnson regarding the racing manners of Miss Mortgage. After hearing submissions from Mr Johnson, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.

Conali (marred Miss Mortgage several times in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a tarsal sprain. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to representative, Ms J.Lyons regarding Conali’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Conali was charged with marring. Ms Lyons pleaded guilty to the charge. Conali was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mepunga Tilly (marred Pretty With It turning into the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to representative, Ms J.Lyons regarding Mepunga Tilly’s racing manners turning into the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Conali was charged with marring. Ms Lyons pleaded guilty to the charge. Mepunga Tilly was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Millers Road - the winner of the event.

Missy Ha Ha and Batman's Dreams were quick to begin. 

Batman's Dreams (visibly eased approaching the home turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 8. Batman's Dreams was found to have a left tarsal sprain and a right tarsal sprain. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Samuel Webb regarding Batman's Dreams racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Batman's Dreams was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Webb pleaded not guilty to the charge. Batman's Dreams was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Summer Scorcher was slow to begin.

Summer Scorcher, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

McIvor Clyde – Late scratching at 1:04pm due to not being presented in the required kennelling time (GAR 86 and LR 39). Due to the circumstances surrounding the non–presentation, Trainer Mr. Barry Priest was fined $250.

A pre-race sample was taken from Lala Noel.

A post-race sample was taken from Aston Hartlett - the winner of the event.

Supplementary Report – 8 June 2023 - The 28 day stand down was removed from McIvor Clyde in lieu of the fine imposed upon the trainer.  

A pre-race sample was taken from Iliopsoas.
