Unique Destiny and Hustle Nina collided approaching the first turn, causing Hustle Nina to fall and Unique Destiny to lose considerable ground. Both greyhounds subsequently underwent a post-race veterinary examination. Hustle Nina was found to have a right carpal sprain, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Unique Destiny was found to have a spike wound to the right hind, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
