Lampent Bale underwent a post–race veterinary examination, the greyhound was unable to be thoroughly examined due to its behaviour. No injury was detected.  Stewards spoke to representative Ms D. Coleman regarding the racing manners of Lampent Bale soon after the start. After hearing submissions from Ms D. Coleman, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections. Ms Coleman was also advised that if the greyhound's behaviour continues to prevent a thorough veterinary examination being undertaken action may be taken against the greyhound pursuant to GAR 131.

Tinker Chris underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative Mr C. Burns regarding the racing manners of Tinker Chris turning off the back straight. After hearing submissions from Mr C. Burns, viewing the available race footage and acting on their own observations, the Stewards took no action. In arriving at this decision, Stewards were mindful of Tinker Chris and Veluza Bale racing tightly, Lampent Bale then shifts down the track in front of those greyhounds, soon after Solo Traveller and Tinker Chris race tightly then both greyhounds become significantly off-balance and lose ground at that part of the race.

A post–race sample was taken from Lyrical Lassy – the winner of the event.

Minty Freshman underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms E. Palma regarding Minty Freshman’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Minty Freshman was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms E. Palma pleaded not guilty to the charge. Minty Freshman was found guilty and suspended for three months at all tracks and must perform two satisfactory trials in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Blackpool Diva was quick to begin. Aston Fonda was slow to begin.

She's So Kind, Aston Cristiano and On The Mend were quick to begin. Luca's Jebrynah was slow to begin.

Manila Flash (faltered entering the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock injury. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

A post–race blood sample was taken from Luca's Jebrynah.

The track was inspected following the event and deemed suitable for racing.

Robin's Choice, Exiled and Hill Side Brae were quick to begin. Dot's Redeemer was slow to begin.

Larkin Bale, Strawberry Sweet and Fly Birdie were quick to begin.
