A pre-race sample was taken from Deedee's Charm.
Florey Bale (checked multiple times approaching first turn and lost considerable ground) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Batman's Dreams underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right monkey and right triangle along with an abrasion to the right hock. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to S. Webb regarding Batman’s Dreams racing manners approching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125 Batman's Dreams was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). S. Webb pled guilty to the charge, Batman’s Dreams was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
