Steward's Report
Trainer Mr C. Knott was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for Shogun Warlord pursuant to GAR 88.
Manila Flash, Lightning Leo, Head The Charge and Holy Wreck were slow to begin.
Head The Charge underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a sand toe injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. A. Azzopardi regarding the racing manners of Head The Charge in the event. After hearing submissions from Mr. Azzopardi, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.
