A pre–race sample was taken from Bow Zarr Dashian.
Affair Beauty and Raving Icon were quick to begin. Reiko Barty and Bad Medicine were slow to begin.
Dozing (lost ground approaching the home turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
