Steward's Report
Silk – Late scratching at 14:37 when Mr David McKenzie reported the greyhound to have an elbow injury (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Dessert Girl and Rothwell Rose were quick to begin.
Dessert Girl contacted the running rail in the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
A post–race sample was taken from Rothwell Rose– the winner of the event.
