Our Lulu faltered in the first turn and subsequently tailed off, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg hamstring injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Cindy's Charm and Meteor Monelli collided approaching the first turn and both greyhounds subsequently fell. Both of fallen greyhounds then proceeded to run back in the opposite direction at pace, towards the lure and remainder of the field. In the interests of the safety and welfare of all greyhounds, the lure was pulled up slowly prior to the winning post, with the race not being completed. As such, pursuant to GAR 110, the event was declared a ‘No Race’. All bets are refunded. The weights recorded for the greyhounds are void and do not count for the purposes of the weight rule at the greyhounds’ next start. In accordance with GAR 111, the event was then abandoned, with prizemoney to be split evenly between the greyhounds which competed.

Oh Mary lost ground in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg pectoral injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
