Wild Bob was slow to begin.
Wild Bob (checked entering the home straight, lost ground and tailed off), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right tarsal fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on the home turn and in the home straight and deemed it satisfactory for racing.
