Steward's Report
Flower Soured was quick to begin. Taden Bale was slow to begin.
Sudoku Yogi trailed the field, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race six. Sudoku Yogi was found to have a spike wound to the right hindleg. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Matthew Marshall, the trainer of Sudoku Yogi regarding its performance in this event. After hearing submissions from Mr Marshall, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, the Stewards deemed the performance of Sudoku Yogi unsatisfactory. Sudoku Yogi must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
It was noted that the muzzle of Distance Danny became partially dislodged during the running of the event.
