Hurricane Hazel faltered approaching the second turn and pulled up, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hamstring injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Go Seek Carrigan displayed post-race lameness, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist injury. A seven day stand down period was imposed.
A post–race sample was taken from Lederhosen Boy – the winner of the event.
