Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Queen Charisma.
Acting in accordance with the GRV Lightning and Thunderstorm Safety Procedure, racing was suspended at 1:33pm due to continuous lightning strikes within the designated safety zone around the Shepparton venue.
Due to the ongoing and continuous Lightning and Thunderstorm activity in the vicinity of the track and some damage to the racing surface caused by significant rainfall, the Stewards abandoned the race meeting at 2.20pm, pursuant to GAR 110 (4). All bets on greyhounds in the abandoned races (6 - 10) are to be refunded. The weights recorded for the greyhounds in the abandoned races (6 - 10) are void and do not count for the purposes of the weight rule at the greyhounds’ next start. Prizemoney for the abandoned races will be split evenly between the eligible greyhounds, at the time of abandonment.
