Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Crackerjack Aret.
Lowick Bale and City Nights were quick to begin.
City Nights underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hamstrings and right triangle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Darren Kee regarding City Nights' racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, City Nights was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Kee pled guilty to the charge, City Nights was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
