Steward's Report
Keep Me Vivid was slow to begin.
Sweaty Hand, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a toe injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Gerry Orr, trainer, regarding Sweaty Hand’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Sweaty Hand was charged with marring. Mr. Orr pled not guilty to the charge, Sweaty Hand was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
