A pre-race sample was taken from Mr. Larson.
Meehan Archie was quick to begin. Major Bomber was slow to begin.
Mr. Larson raced ungenerously approaching the winning post, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Garry Condon regarding the racing manners of Mr. Lawson approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr. Condon, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.
