Steward's Report
Dedalus Diggle and Rojo Silver Fox were quick to begin. Hippogriff and Sky High Riot were slow to begin.
Rojo Silver Fox (marred Sunny Love in the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. P. Bartlett regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Rojo Silver Fox was charged with marring. Mr Bartlett pleaded guilty to the charge, Rojo Silver Fox was suspended for 28 days at The Meadows only and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Hippogriff - winner of the event.
