Elswyk Rocky was quick to begin. Look I'm Flying was slow to begin.
Elswyk Rocky underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right thigh and right chest muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mrs Rachael Busuttil regarding the greyhound's racing manners. After hearing submissions from Mrs Busuttil, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.
