Steward's Report
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 19 degrees and the kennel temperature was 17.4 degrees. The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.
Pursuant to the GRV Hot Weather Policy, the Stewards dispensed with two requirements prior to Race 1 meaning greyhounds were no longer required to remain on course for the specified time and that the parading of greyhounds was to occur, as the outside temperature had decreased to a reasonable level.
Sandy Diva and Madalia Tipper were slow to begin.
