An out of competition sample was taken from Call Me Thor on 20 December 2022, pursuant to GAR 139.
A pre-race sample was taken from Sallie Milne.
Major Sentence, Was A Soldier and Sallie Milne were quick to begin.
Sallie Milne (severely checked and lost ground on the second turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury and a left pencil muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
