Kraken Presto (fell on the first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have some spike wounds. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Break Ranks (was severely checked on the first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to representative Mr Dean Elliott regarding the racing manners of Spring Ammo on the first turn. After hearing submissions from Mr Elliott, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
