Deadly Class and Out for Glory were quick to begin.
A post–race sample was taken from Deadly Class – the winner of the event.
Rufiano fall on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have multiple abrasions. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Out for Glory was involved in a heavy collision on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Invictus Jaxson was involved in a heavy collision on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions. A 0 day stand down period was imposed.
Starlight Tyson turned its head outwards and visably easied on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have cervico- thoracic injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Ms. K. Cottrell regarding Starlight Tyson’s racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Starlight Tyson was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. K. Cottrell pled guilty to the charge, Starlight Tyson was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
