Steward's Report
Todling Bale was slow to begin.
A post–race sample was taken from Hunter Grange – the winner of the event.
Todling Bale turned it's head inwards in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Representative Mr. George Dailly declined the option to have the greyhound re–vetted.
Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Dailly regarding Todling Bale’s racing manners in home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Todling Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge, Todling Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat only and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127 and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
