The closing time of kennelling was altered in accordance with GAR 86 the kennels closed at 6:25pm. 

A sample was taken from Bomber's Lunatic upon arrival at the course.   

Spirit Of Panama and Cold Beers were slow to begin. Bomber's Lunatic was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Jessica Gem – Late scratching at 18:27 on the advice of the On– Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a left hindleg tarsal fracture injury. A 90 day stand down period was imposed. 

My Mate Glen was quick to begin. My Mate Beanie,Victory Mick and Madalia Snoopy were slow to begin.

Cross The River and Starlit Fantasy were quick to begin. Jayville Bolt and Authentic were slow to begin. 

Racing was indefinitely delayed at 19:40 due to an unsuitable track surface. Remedial works were undertaken with track maintenance staff rectifting the issue. Stewards declared the track suitable for racing at 21:00. This event was rescheduled to commence at 21:10.

A sample was taken from Dr. Bella upon arrival at the course.    

A pre–race sample was taken from Zipping tedsco.

Supplementary Report:

Tuesday, 28 February 2023 - Stewards finalised an adjourned inquiry with Ms. Maria Barber from the Traralgon Greyhound Racing Club Meeting held on Wednesday, 22 February 2023. The subject of the inquiry involved Ms. Barber's conduct toward the On-Track Veterinarian and conduct in the kennel building during kennelling. Ms. Barber pleaded not guilty to a charge of GAR 165(a) in that she engaged in conduct that was detrimental and/or prejudicial to the image and control of greyhound racing. Stewards found Ms. Barber guilty as charged and imposed a penalty of $500.00, with $250.00 suspended for a period of 24 months pending no similar offences or further breaches of the relevant rule.
