Steward's Report
Silent Majority (turned its head outwards and marred Miss Ivy May soon after the start) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Richard Gray regarding Silent Majority’s racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Silent Majority was charged with marring. Mr Gray pleaded guilty to the charge, Silent Majority was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial/s in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post–race sample was taken from Tutu To Tutu – the winner of the event.
