Kaori – Late scratching at 10:58 AM due to the greyhound being on season GAR 76. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Checkout Chick and Fly Birdie were quick to begin. 

Thai Gem – Late scratching at 11:29 AM when Mr. Kevin Quinn reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.

Fly Mcrae was quick to begin. Riverdale Peggy was slow to begin.

A post–race sample was taken from Tinker Crystal – the winner of the event.

Aston Mcenroe was quick to begin. Dark Label was slow to begin. 

Strawberry Sweet was quick to begin. Notorious Diesel and Tinker Miker were slow to begin.

Notorious Diesel was galloped on in the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination  – no apparent injury was reported.

Hold On Love underwent a post–race veterinary examination  – no apparent injury was reported.

Style Key and Crown Ella were quick to begin. Riverdale Tommy was slow to begin.

Rocket Rodeo underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre–race sample was taken from Junior Marjen. 

Quenara Bale was quick to begin.

Junior Marjen underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a dislocated toe on the right foreleg. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Dr. Ronald upon arrival at the course.

Stewards held the "All Clear" as the boxes opened prematurely. After reviewing all available video footage and acting on their observations, the Stewards were not comfortably satisfied that the incident had no effect on the outcome of the race. As such, pursuant to GAR 110, the event was declared a ‘No Race’. All bets are refunded. The weights recorded for the greyhounds are void and do not count for the purposes of the weight rule at the greyhounds’ next start. The event was then abandoned, with prizemoney to be split evenly between the greyhounds which competed.

Carry On Jack was quick to begin. Sunny Love and Jesse's Shout were slow to begin.

Jesse's Shout underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Kevin Tirchett regarding Jesse's Shout's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Jesse's Shout was charged with marring. Mr. Tirchett pled guilty to the charge, Jesse's Shout was found guilty and suspended for three month's at all tracks and must perform two Satisfactory Trial's in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Pursuant to GAR 75(6) Starter, Ms. D. Robertson did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

Aston Georgina was quick to begin. Quilla Reef and Manilla Aritsa were slow to begin.

Aston Georgina underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Chappy's Cosmog – Blinkers Off – Field of 5, Distance 400m, Weight 30.9 kg, Box 5, Placed 1st, Time Run 22.521 – Comment: Underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to an incident in the catching pen and was found to have a fracture to the left humerus. Chappy's Cosmog was humanely euthanised.

Spring Martini – FTP – Field of 5, Distance 400m, Weight 27.0 kg, Box 7, Placed 2nd , Time Run 22.664 – Comment: Cleared all tracks except, Shepparton.

City Nights – FTP Injury – Field of 5, Distance 400m, Weight 28.7 kg, Box 8, Placed 3rd, Time Run 22.943 – Comment: Cleared all tracks.
