Steward's Report
Tahitian Lily and Luxuriate were quick to begin. Summer Season and Tiggerlong Sassy were slow to begin.
Hydro Glide marred Tiggerlong Sassy in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right triangle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. R. McCullagh regarding Hydro Glide’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Hydro Glide was charged with marring. Mr McCullagh pled guilty to the charge, Hydro Glide was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127 and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
