Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Moyarra Minstrel.
Big John – Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound and removed the boxed first endorsement for future events in accordance with GAR 106.
Big John – Was ordered to wear an anti–aggression muzzle in all future events in accordance with GAR 131.
Zipping Winslet faltered, lost ground and tailed off in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 9. Zipping Winslet was found to have a left medial tibial injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr Ricky Coleman regarding Zipping Winslet's performace in the home straight. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr Coleman to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Zipping Winslet in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
