Steward's Report
The start of this event was delayed by approximately one minute due to the late arrival of the Lure Driver resulting in a delay in pre-race operational procedures. Stewards spoke to the Lure Driver who advised he encountered heavy traffic en-route to the track. Stewards noted the explanation.
Graceland Boy and Penny's Jade were quick to begin. Second Option and Aston Pernille were slow to begin.
Bring Me Roses, underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Trainer - Ms. Indiah Guy regarding the racing manners of Bring Me Roses approaching the finishing line. After hearing submissions from Ms Guy, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the finishing line.
