Steward's Report
Latham Bale – Late scratching at 10:51am due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Nathan Hunt was fined $100.00.
Elli's My Girl and Cool Story Bro were quick to begin. Golden Go and Reiko Oreo were slow to begin.
Cool Story Bro - checked on the 1st and 2nd turns before tailing off, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left monkey, right hamstring and right triangle muscles. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Nathan Hunt regarding Cool Story Bro's performance throughout the event. After hearing submissions from Mr Hunt, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Cool Story Bro to be unsatisfactory. Cool Story Bro must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted. Mr Hunt advised the greyhound will be retired.
