Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Ziems Park Miss.
Chop was slow to begin.
Chop, contacted the rail in the back straight and underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a mild scratch on the left shoulder. A 0 day stand down period was imposed.
Langfield Bale, faltered at the 250m mark and lost ground, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left long head of triceps injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Luke Harris, the representative of Langfield Bale regarding reason for concerns with performance. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr. Harris to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Langfield Bale in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
Due to technical issues with race day the race number semaphored for this event incorrectly displayed race 6.
